Another curiosity in the Austin area is "the veloway"

The veloway is a paved 3 mile loop and oasis tucked in what is now part of Circle C development.
See the webpage for the uses and history. Rather forward thinking.
I did 5 laps; looks deceptively easy but has one short steep hill and several tight turns.
At any rate, it can wear you out and appears to get lots of use.
